Shakespeare 2090 spin reel
This large spin reel was made in USA. in 1959 and weighs 21.2oz. It is in excellent condition, and has some very lite marks in spots but everything works perfectly, probably only used a few times and its recently been lightly serviced. It comes with a grey metal body, strong bail, very smooth drag, good anti-reverse, rolling roller and smooth gears. It has a 3.2/1 gear ratio and will hold 250 yards of 20lb.test, it is a very good quality reel, and is a grade 9+/10. I have been fishing with these reels for 50 years and caught thousands of fish with them. The oil soaked leather drag washers were the best at the time.
If you are not happy with an item, returns are fine but buyer pays shipping.
The reels I sell are 98% used, and in between 20 & 100 years old. Most are far from perfect, so I some times use the Orca grading system, the first no. is how it looks and the second how it works. A 5/5 would be for parts and a 10/10 would be new.
