Vintage Penn 105 Saltwater Ball Bearing Spinning Reel Made In Japan

Penn 105 spinning reel featuring a ball bearing supported pinion gear and a metal case making it very strong and durable, made in Japan. Very smooth on cast and retrieve, the bail snaps back after each cast and the drag function is very smooth with silent anti-reverse, gear ratio is 4.1:1, the spool is large and holds 200 yds of 20 lb test mono line. This is a very large high quality saltwater or fresh water work horse a very solid reel that will not let you down. Excellent condition with minor scuffs from normal use, paint is bright and clean. The gears have been greased, bearing was oiled, see last two photos in the gallery for internal condition. Spool some new line and go fishing or put it in your collection it displays very well.
