This is a Mint condition Mitchell Match Auto Bail 440A with Raised name plate in Gold and Gold Script Match  3rd Version. This is a Euro Release.  Reel is fully functional. Bail Lock is working , Silent AR is perfect . Rotor to Body has little to no Play ! Bail is super crisp everything is working like Factory new. 4 Hold down points on Baffle  Plate very important when buying ABs... NOS Black Face Plate screws , Lube Port  handle and much more.  This reel shows very little use!
The 440s models are 5 to 1 Ratio of line retrieve. Mechanically another 10++++ Paint 9.6

These Reels ( Auto Bails ) almost never are working properly due to the complexity of the Bails system. All of my AB listings are performing like new after a minimum of 2 hours or more of complete breakdown cleaning and replacing all excessively worn parts with NOS parts. Just recommend adding a Quality Gun Oil from the Lube Port and Bail assembly after each fishing Season...
Another helpful tip ! Mitchell Reels tend to pump up excess Oil to the Baffle Plate around shaft , wipe off regularly all excess Oil in this area to avoid dirt and sand building up in the Reel...
