  • Condition: All parts function on this reel as they should. The reel casts and retrieves line properly, the anti-reverse lever works well, the drag works well, the reel spins freely, the half bail wire snaps shut when engaged, and the handle reels properly. The handle is an after-market handle that looks very stylish on this reel. This is a GREAT reel that is fun to use and is a mechanical masterpiece. Upon viewing this reel, you will first notice the original spool with the white aluminum cover strip with the SERRAGE C.A.P insignia on the top of the spool. This reel also dawns the original three-fingered drag nut that provides very delicate measured increases of drag strength to the reel. It is quite appropriate to have the French word SERRAGE, meaning TIGHTEN, on the spool below the Drag Nut. There is paint wear and paint chipping on all black body parts consistent with the age use and of the reel.
